Revolutionary Array of Telescopes for People with Low Vision That Offers Both
Magnification and an Extremely Wide Field of View
From: NextTechs Technology Portfolio

People with low vision - individuals whose vision cannot be corrected to
20/20 with ordinary ophthalmic lenses - require magnification to see detail
at far distances or to read. Commonly prescribed telescopes provide
magnification but narrow fields of view.

To solve the problem, an array of telescopes, which are adjacent to each
other, has been developed. This array offers a mosaic of contiguous magnified
images that provide both magnification and an extremely wide field of view.
This novel arrangement provides a real field of view of 40 degrees wide at 2x
magnification.

telescopes are angularily arrayed to provide contiguous magnified fields of
view.
