The National Cristina Foundation (NCF) receives donations of computers from
companies, governments, and individuals and redistibute them to organizations
that work with people with disabilities. They have partner projects with
special education departments and Tech Act projects all over the country.
The NCF president, Yvette Marrin, would like RESNA members to know about NCF
and encourages any RESNA member to apply to be a partner. All you have to do
is fill out a short application on their website - http://www.cristina.org/

Once you become a partner, they route email notices about donations in your
geographic area. You then talk to the person donating the equipment and work
out arrangements for transportation of the equipment. There are no costs to
you unless you have to go to pick up the equipment.

If you have a project that requires a number of computers at one time, you
could talk to Yvette and work out a way to get them. Here is Yvette's contact
info.
