Laval Virtual is a major gathering for the international scientific and
professional exchanges regarding Virtual Reality. The VRIC Conference is
organised in four half days sessions chaired by international experts of
Virtual Reality.

We welcome proposals for presentations of applications and tools. 


The program of each session will be composed of: 

- A 45 minutes keynote presentation given by the invited chairman, 

- 30 minutes scientific talks selected by the international program
  committee, 

- Poster presentations, which will also be included in the conference
  proceedings.  

The conference languages are both English and French with simultaneous
translation.  

PROCEEDINGS 
Conference proceedings, in English, (including all accepted papers) will be
published and will be available for the delegates at the symposium in printed
form.  

A special issue of IJODIR (International Journal of Design and Innovation
Research) will be published with conference best papers.  

BEST PAPER AWARD 
The best paper and presentation will be honoured with an award and the VRNews
prize of 1000 Euro.  

IMPORTANT DATES

SUBMISSION OF PAPERS 
The International Program Committee requests prospective authors to either
send a full paper or an extended abstract for review. All submissions must be
written in English, starting with a succinct statement of the problem, the
results achieved, their significance and a comparison with previous work. All
submissions must be received by January, 2000.  

The submission should also include: title of proposed paper, authors names,
affiliations, addresses, name of author to contact for correspondence, e-mail
address, telephone and fax number of contact author, topics which best
describe the paper (max. 5 keywords).  

Full papers: maximum 10 pages single-spaced; Font to be used: Times;
Characters size: 12 pt for text, 16 pt bold for title, 14 pt bold for section
titles and 12 pt bold for sub-section titles; Paper format: two-column A4
format; Margins: top, bottom, left, right = 2,5 cm.  

Papers and abstract should be submitted by e-mail in Word ".doc" format to:

Papers or abstracts could also be submitted in the paper form, 3 hard copies,
