RESNA SIG-11 member honored at USI Commencement

Aimee Luebben was honored as the 2001 Integra Bank Distinguished Professor at
the University of Southern Indiana's 2001 Commencement on Sunday, May 6th. 

Luebben, program director and associate professor of occupational therapy,
joined USI in 1992 as the first director of the occupational therapy program.
She designs curricula, prepares self-study reports, organizes accreditation
visits, teaches classes, and advises students. Occupational therapy programs
are available at the associate, baccalaureate, and master's levels. 

Active in community and professional organizations, Luebben is a member of
the HealthSouth Tri-State Regional Rehabilitation Hospital Advisory Board,
Indiana Economic Development Council work groups, and Evansville-Vanderburgh
School Corporation committees. 

Luebben is Secretary of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
In 1996, she was named a fellow of the AOTA, the highest distinction in the
profession. Her scholarship is evidenced in 125 articles published in papers,
book chapters, refereed abstracts, and editorials. She makes national and
international professional presentations. 

She earned a B.A. from Illinois State University, B.S. and M.S. degrees from
Washington University, and an Ed.D. from Southern Illinois University at
Edwardsville.
