From eWeek - October 16, 2000 - page 58

Using speech recognition from SpeechWorks International Inc., HeyAnita Inc.
jumped into the voice portal market October 3rd.

By calling 800/442-6482, consumers can use their voice to access news, flight
arrivals and departures, weather, sports, stock quotes, and a personalized
service called Message Center, enabling e-mail access from any phone.

Users of yahoo's e-mail service can sign up on HeyAnita's Web site
(http://www.heyanita.com) and have their email read to them over the phone.
Other e-mail services will be enabled soon, officials said.

Founded in August, 1999, the Los Angeles company already has a joint venture
with Korea Telecom Corp. for service in Korea. Other deals will be done in
Europe, Asia, and Latin America. HeyAnita's Korean affiliates will share a
percentage of the profits on every phone call made.

HeyAnita also offers companies a turnkey solution to voice-enable their
businesses, officials said.
