Nov. 20, 2000 - AbleLink Technology's software turns a hand-held computer
into a reminder for the disabled.

The Colorado Springs-based company developed software that gives a series of
vocal instructions - such as "Don't forget to eat your breakfast" - when
loaded into a hand-held computer similar to a Palm Pilot. The reminder,
called the Pocket Coach, can aid people with mental retardation and other
conditions that affect memory.
