A new listserv has been launched called AToutcomes. This listserv is hosted
by the Adaptive Technology Resource Centre (ATRC) at the University of
Toronto to support the development and use of reliable, valid and sensitive
outcome measures in assistive technology. Subscribers are invited to share
their experiences and questions relating to choosing,developing or
implementing outcome measures in areas such as seating and mobility, computer
access, vision technology and augmentative communication. Linda Petty, (O.T.)
of the ATRC will moderate and Dr. Jan Miller Polgar of University of Western
Ontario has agreed to subscribe to the listserve as an academic and research
resource person. Prof. Mary Law, School of Rehabilitation Science, McMaster
Univ. has agreed to respond to questions forwarded to her relating to the use
of the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure. 

The list will only be as valuable as the participants make it by raising
questions, posting information and offering responses. Please consider
subscribing and offering your expertise, experience and critical thinking to
others seeking to offer reliable valid data on the value of assistive
technology in people's lives.

etc. with your email address and do not add a signature, or else type "end"
under your subscribe line.
